  I give five stars to this sushi restaurant. I've been here a handful of times, sometimes on my way back to my residence and sometimes to meet with friends. When I was a college student, it seemed like a popular place for students.

  More on the 2.5 end but rounding up to 3 given that Berkeley's sushi scene is not good to begin with. I've been here a couple of times and the food never particularly impresses me. I most recently got the Cherry Blossom Roll, which has tuna on top with salmon and avocado in the middle. I believe I ended up paying around $15 in total (with tip), which felt a bit overpriced for the quality of the sushi. The fish was average -- not amazingly fresh, but not alarming either. Next time I come, I'll probably be getting a cooked bowl, since those prices look very reasonable.
  
  Definitely gained a star for the service though! I've never had a bad experience in that regard and the lady that helped us was kind.
  
  In total, I'd say it's more-or-less appropriate for the price, but don't expect the quality of the fish to scale accordingly with the price on the more expensive ones. Very convenient location though + lots of decently priced dishes.

  Just came in for a quick snack and was craving sushi! Nice service, hundred of options to choose from. I picked out two rolls, which were ready in minutes. The were delicious!
  This is a great place to go if you don't have much time but need to eat. There's plenty of seating and something for everyone on the menu

  This is not the place to go for good quality sushi, but for the price and location, it is very convenient for college students to go and grab a quick bite or meetup with people since there is a lot of seating inside. They have student deals and combo meals that are very affordable.
  
  When I came here, I ordered the 8 piece California roll. The rice was a bit dry and sticky, but for $6, it was a pretty affordable meal to have in Berkeley.

  So this looks like a deserted tiny shop when you first look at it. I was nervous to walk in but I Loved this spot. My friends placed all the orders and taught me to use chop sticks. I still prefer the child friendly ones or a fork :) The sushi was very yummy. I would definitely go back. Not the highest quality sushi but still very good.
  
  Bento boxes are huge. Can share amongst two people and they come with a sushi roll.
  
  Park in the parking lot because no street parking is ever available.
  
  Order the pineapple roll and the dynamite roll.
